Here is a new page that we recently made. So far we have been on 8 expeditions in 3 countries in South America. We hope to make additional expeditions to other countries as time and resources allow.
Visiting another country can be fun but also a taxing especially if you do not speak the native language or are unfamiliar with another country’s culture. But learning about another country’s culture can also be a part of the appeal of visiting. One can completely immerse themselves in the customs of the culture.
South Amercia, much like North America, is a mix of cultures. Influences from Europe, Africa and even from the Pacific cultures all at one point landed on the shores of what we now know as South America. But the first ancestors of those we consider native to South America, likely crossed the Bering Strait around 15,000 years ago (Wikipedia 2023).
